Consult KWASAA for Signage and Billboards Erection, DG Tells Public

The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has called on indigenes and residents of the State  to always consult the agency before mounting signboards or erecting billboards anywhere in the State.

The Director-General (DG) of the agency, Hon. Olorunshola Omotayo made the call in his office during a consultation visit by the media team of Kawu Baraje Turbaning ceremony as Tafida of Ilorin.

Omotayo, who commended the team headed by a former Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, said the agency is ready to accommodate everyone or group interested in asking questions on how to go about their signage and billboard matters.

The KWASSA boss noted that the agency would not relent in its efforts at educating the public on the need to see it as a point of call for signage and outdoor matters in the State.

He described members of the team as people of timber and calibre who  deserve more commendation for deeming it fit to visit the agency for enquiries.

Omotayo urged members of the public to follow suit towards ensuring orderliness in the signage and other related matters.

Earlier, the leader of the team, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi had intimated the DG that he was moved by a write-up he read, where the KWASAA boss appealed to the public to always come to the agency for proper education before mounting signboards and billboards in the State.

Akanbi, who applauded the agency for a job well done, urged the staff to ensure that the agency works towards the growth and development of the state in particular and the country at large.
