Kwara First Lady Congratulates Elerin @80, Coronation Anniversary


The Kwara State First Lady Ambassador Dr Olufolake AbdulRazaq has congratulated His Royal Highness, the Elerin of Erin-Ile, Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Ibrahim (MFR), Olusookun II on his 40th coronation anniversary and 80th birthday celebrations.

Mrs Abdulrazaq said this today,  during her visit to  the Royal Father's palace at Erinle, in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In her remarks at the occasion, Ambassador AbdulRazaq, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Environment, Mrs Olaitan Abosede Buraimoh,  affirmed that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration has never ceased to recognize the significance of traditional rulers in making the state peaceful for all. 

According to the First Lady, " No government can meet up with the expectations and needs of the masses without absolute support of the royal fathers,  as they play pivotal roles in making a better society".
Mrs AbdulRazaq commended the  Elerin of Erin-Ile and the good people of Erin Ile community, for their immense contributions in promoting peace and development in the Kwara State.

Mrs AbdulRazaq who was delighted at the event which featured the cultural heritage of the people, noted it that  was good for the children as it  exposed them to the traditional values of Erin community at large.

While extolling the virtues of Olusookun II, she said "it is a priceless occasion to celebrate the 80th birthyday of an icon like our dear King and father, Elerin of Erin-Ile. It is of a truth that you are a portrait of goodness in the universe having a great number of us who are impacted by the greatness and virtues of rare ones like you. l, therefore, join others who wish to celebrate a gem like you to say a very significant happy birthday to Your Royal Highness.

She prayed that God continues to ease and pilot all his affairs, give him peace of mind and grant all his heart desires.
