KWSG Passionate about Arts and Culture - Buraimoh

The State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, has assured the Management of the Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture of the government's readiness to support the Council in its mandate of entertaining and educating Kwarans and tourists at large.

This was made known during a visit to the Council, carried out by the Management of the Ministry, in order to inspect the phased renovation of the  building of the Arts Council.

Buraimoh commended the State performing troupe for always  making the state proud. She also urged them to put in more efforts in making the state to always be in the limelight when it comes to entertainment and cultural exhibition.
The Commissioner added that the governor " is passionate about arts, culture and creativity and his administration does not joke with anything that will project a favourable image of the state."

While going round the facility to inspect the level of work done with the painting and renovations, Buraimoh assured them of taking their requests to the governor and urged them to be good ambassadors of the state anywhere they find themselves.
Earlier, while welcoming the Commissioner and her team, the Executive Director of the Arts Council, Mr. Bisi Oyewole,  expressed gratitude that the government has been giving listening ears to the demands of the council.
Recall that the Governor had earlier released fund  for a phase of the renovation of the State Arts Council building which was previously a sore sight to behold, contrasting its purpose which is to attract tourists and investors and help with revenue generation for the state government.
