KWSG Pledges Support to Marketers

The wife of the Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Mrs. Olufolake AbdulRazaq, has reechoed the willingness of the State Government to support marketers in the State by creating an enabling environment to move Kwara to its desired destination of success and development.

Dr. AbdulRazaq stated this today during the inauguration of the executive members of the Kwara State Association of Marketers (KWAM).

The wife of the governor, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, appreciated the market men and women for their "thoughtfulness, proactiveness and innovation in uniting and bringing all marketers in Kwara State under one umbrella."

The timing and importance of this unique occasion cannot be overemphasized, as the cardinal objective of our administration is to open up the State for massive investments, industrial revolution and entrepreneurship.
This is being done in setting aside huge capital given to potential entrepreneurs at no or a reasonable low interest rate, massive registration of businesses to be captured under both the federal and the state government post COVID-19 Support Programmes (Kwara NG-CARES), Social Intervention Programmes, Women and Trader Support Initiatives," she said.
The First Lady urged the marketers to remain at peace with one another and continue existing in love and unity.

The occasion witnessed the presence of the Aare Oloja General, Chief Mrs. Waiye Osho, Babaloja General, Alhaji Abdullahi Sa'ad, Iyaloja of Kwara State, Alhaja Sidikat Akaje, top government dignitaries and market men and women.
