Kwara L-PRES Trains Secondary School Students on Feeds Processing
The Kwara State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES) in partnership with Bursar Investment Company Limited has organised a Step-down training for secondary school students on small ruminants production and feed processing for animal utilisation. The programme held at Gaa Imam area in ilorin, was part of the move to sensitize the youths at the secondary school level on the benefits of livestock business in improving economic livelihood of people. While addressing the students, the State Project Coordinator, Mr. Olusoji Oyawoye said the L-PRES Project was at addressing the challenges confronting livestock farmers by improving the productivity, commercialisation, and resilience of farmers to climate change, environmental degradation and farmers/herders conflict in livestock production systems.
