FMA Trains 22 Extension Agents On Profitable Agric Practices
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, through the Department of Agricultural Extension Services, in collaboration with the Kwara State Government, has trained 22 extension agents on profitable agricultural practices. The training, which was organized by Small Holders Horticulture Empowerment Project (SHEP), is part of the government's drive at ensuring food security in the state. Declaring the workshop open in Ilorin, the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Oloruntoyosi Thomas said the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is passionate about the well-being of kwarans and fully committed to the agricultural sector. She disclosed that the state government had invested heavily in agriculture and extension services, expressing satisfaction on the performance of all the departments in the Ministry. The Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Kwara Agricultural Development Project (KWADP), emphasizing the importance of extension agents in
