KWSG Sponsors Successful Kwara Vendors Ville (KVV) 2.0 Trade Fair 2025
The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and supporting local businesses by sponsoring the Kwara Vendors Ville (KVV) 2.0 Trade Fair 2025, held from Friday, 5th to Sunday, 7th September 2025.
The state government, under the leadership of the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, provided financial support to ensure the successful hosting of the trade fair, which showcased innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth in the state.
The three-day event created a platform for vendors and businesses across Kwara to exhibit their products and services, connect with potential customers and explore new business opportunities. Exhibitors featured goods and services from diverse sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, crafts, fashion, technology and online marketing.
In her remarks, the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, expressed satisfaction with the impressive turnout of participants and the quality of goods and services offered at reduced prices to cushion the effect of current economic challenges.
The Commissioner commended the Governor for his visionary leadership, love for Kwarans and dedication to youth empowerment, particularly entrepreneurs striving to excel in their chosen careers, emphasizing the importance of promoting Small and Medium Enterprises in the state.
Hon. Adelodun highlighted the state government’s numerous infrastructural projects that support business growth and noted that the trade fair successfully promoted visibility and opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs, strengthening their capacity to contribute to Kwara’s economic development.
Participants at the fair expressed satisfaction with the opportunities provided for networking, showcasing products and forming business partnerships. Side attractions included gifts and cash awards for outstanding entrepreneurs and innovators.
The success of KVV 2.0 Trade Fair 2025 further underscores the Kwara State Government’s unwavering commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and empowering youth entrepreneurs as a driving force for sustainable economic growth.
