Lade Implores Contractor Handling Oyun Waterworks Rehabilitation Project to be Proactive


The Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, has implored Shegs Contracts Ltd., Alhaji Abdulsalam Muritala, handling the ongoing Oyun Waterworks rehabilitation project to be more proactive.

The Commissioner stated this recently during an inspection of the project in order to have a first hand information on the status of the ongoing work.

Hon. Lade said that it has become necessary to fast track work on the project considering the number of communities that depend on the facility to access potable water supply, pointing out that the waterworks supplies water to Ajase, Ijagbo, Ipe, Offa and Amberi communities respectively.

He reiterated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's commitment to providing potable water supply to all nooks and crannies of the state in tandem with the electioneering campaign promises.

Responding, the Contractor, Shegs Contracts Ltd., Alhaji Abdulsalam Muritala, promised to hand over the project without much delay and stressed that necessary changes must be carried out effectively in the facility, pledging to delivered a quality project that the state government would be proud of.
