*TOWOJU FELICITATES ASHIRU ON BIRTHDAY, CONGRATULATES HIM ON RE-ELECTION*

The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has felicitated with the Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Oyelola Ashiru on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement issued in Ilorin, Hon. Towoju also congratulated the distinguished Senator on his recent victory at the polls which led to him clinching his re-election bid at the just-concluded primaries. 

According to him,  "Senator Lola Ashiru is a man who is always ready to help and his good representation of the people of Kwara South in the National Assembly is a testament of his good virtues". 

Hon. Towoju added that "The people he is serving are enjoying him. Hence, it is easy for the delegates to decide to support him for another term".

Speaking on the Senator's birthday, the Commissioner said "I want to congratulate him specially for the countless blessings the Almighty God had bestowed on him and I pray that God will never leave or forsake him".

Hon. Towoju called on all residents in Kwara State to maintain the peaceful co-existence the State is known for and report any suspicious activity or movement to the nearest police station.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Government launched the Kwapreneur program as a strategic effort to empower industrious and innovative young entrepreneurs across the state. Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
