Second Batch of 548 Kwara Pilgrims Arrive Ilorin, Tonight


The second batch of 548 Kwara State pilgrims from Saudi Arabia have  arrived in Ilorin, the State capital tonight, having completed their Hajj rites for this year.

The Max Airline that conveyed the pilgrims, including one pilgrim from Ondo State and three officials from the State touched down at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin at exactly 7:01pm.

The three officials from the State who led the other pilgrims were Alhaja Khadijat Kuburat Abtawiy, Alhaji Abdullahi Kawu-Shuaib and Hajia Sanni Ramat from the office of the Secretary to the State Government.

It will be recalled that the first batch of 558 Kwara State pilgrims arrived in Ilorin on Saturday, bringing the total pilgrims who have returned from Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2025 to 1,106.

The Max Airline departed the Tunde Idiagbon International Airport at about 8:52pm tonight.
