Health Tech Offa Hosts NBTE Meeting
Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, recently played host to Hosts the National Board Of Technical Education meeting, to review National Diploma Curriculum in Paramedics and Higher National Diploma Curriculum in Paramedics.
The Acting Provost of the College, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim, hosted the delegation, led by the Director of Curriculum Development, Dr. Musa Hatim Koko, who is on a working visit to the College, to review the curriculum for the National Diploma in Paramedics.
The meeting is aimed at setting the stage for the attainment of Higher National Diploma in Paramedics, which is about to be commenced by the Department of Paramedic, Health Technology of the College.
The Provost noted that, cordial relationship had existed between the College and NBTE over the years and should be sustained for the benefit of the College, towards achieving the desired critical academic and administrative milestones.
Responding, the team lead and Director of Curriculum Development, Dr. Musa Hatim Koko acknowledged the efforts of the management of the College, therefore offered to assist on matters bordering on programme accreditation and capacity building strategies, adding that the institution should count on the Board's support at all times, particularly in future projects of the College.
Those in attendance at the meeting include; the Registrar of the College, Alhaji Saliu Babatunde, Deputy Registrar Administration, Mr. Steven Salami and Deputy Registrar Academics, Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammed.
Others are; the Librarian of the College, Mr. Sakariyu Abdullateef , Chief Security Officer of the College, Mr. Omiyale Raphel and other principal staff of the college.
