TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT RECEIVED BOOST IN KWARA AS OGUNNAIKE PARTNERS KWARTMA FOR EFFICIENCY

Traffic management in Kwara State gets boost today Wednesday 20th March 2024 when the Dr. Segun Ogunnaike the Managing Director GOPOP Strategy Limited comprising of GOPOD Transportation Consult, AutoVIN, GOPOD Events Consult and GoTravels visited Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA) Headquarters to foster partnership with the Authority on the best traffic management practices in line with modern techniques and technology.
 
The partnership which majored on On/Off Street parking, Setback management, Parking and No Parking facilities will have Ogunnaike as the lead consultant to the Authority thereby making Kwara a go to place in terms of sanity on the roads and generating revenue to the State in a way that will ensure motoring public make optima use of facilities provided by the government, also the consultant will be engaged in Staff training, Capacity Building, investment in facilities and equipment for the development of the authority, while pledging a modern traffic library for the use of the Authority and the public.


Earlier in his welcome address, the Ag. Chief Executive Officer Engr. Micheal Bamidele had welcomed Ogunnaike and his team all the way from Lagos to Kwara State. He appreciated and assured them of the readiness of the management of KWARTMA to cooperate with them in seeing the success of the project while also commending Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq the Executive Governor of Kwara State for his investments in road construction and other socioeconomic development of the State of harmony. As part of KWARTMA appreciation of Ogunnaike’s visit, the Authority deemed him fit to be decorated as one of her Special Traffic Mayor which was appreciated by the team as they pledged more supports to the state. 

The joint team of KWARTMA and GOPOD Strategy Limited had earlier visited Abdulwahab Folawiyo (Unity) Road, Taiwo Isale/Taiwo Oke, Sawmill, Asadam Road, Post Office/Challenge and the places within the metropolis for on the spot assessment of the areas. The scheme will to a large extent discourage flagrant parking of vehicle and trading activities on the roads while imbibing acceptable parking and road use culture in the people as it is emplace globally.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
