KWSG BEGINS RENOVATION OF RUWASSA 20 YEARS AFTER

The Kwara State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade has paid an  assessment visit to the ongoing renovation of the State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency RUWASSA in Ilorin.

The Commissioner used the opportunity of the assessment visit to charge the contractor to handle the renovation work diligently, and deliver a quality job in accordance with the project’s terms of agreement.

He disclosed that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is renovating the office because of his passion to improve the welfare of the workers  and attract partnerships, locally and internationally to support the WASH sector in the state.

The renovation of the complex, he said, was last carried out in 2004 by UNICEF, which is almost 20 years ago.

According to the Commissioner, the renovation of the edifice is going to be carried out in phases, pointing out that the first phase has just started, after which phase two of the project and subsequent phases will follow simultaneously.

The arrowhead of the Ministry assured the contractor of the state government's preparedness to give the edifice the facelift it deserves.

Lade, however, expressed satisfaction with the level of work so far done, stressing that the state government is ready to support the contractor in delivering a quality job.

Earlier, the representative of the contractor handling the project, Engr. Musa Surajudeen, who conducted the Commissioner and his team round the facilities, pledged to deliver quality job in line with the specifications and stipulated completion period.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
