COMMISSIONER CHARGES STAFF TO BE COMMITTED TO DUTY

The Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. John Olarewaju Bello, has again enjoined the staff of the Ministry to be more dedicated and committed to duty. 

The Commissioner who was represented by the Director of Operations, Engr. Oloruntoyin, 'Tunde Zubair, gave the charge today during the general meeting of the Ministry staffers held at the conference room of the Ministry in Ilorin. 

He explained that it is only with a high level of commitment, diligence, and hard work that the Ministry will be able to move to a greater height.

Hon. Bello emphasized that punctuality at work should be imbibed as a cultural discipline by the staff, advising them to work together as a team to move the Ministry to a greater height. 

The commissioner stressed that he is not pleased with some of the staff for not being punctual at work, noting that the two off- working days approved by the State Government should be picked between Tuesdays and Fridays. He therefore, stated that every staff must report to duty on Mondays as the first working day of the week. 

He added that henceforth, the movement register book should be operational to be able to monitor the movement of the staff during working hours and also to strengthen their punctuality. 

In her remarks, The Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics, Mrs. Babayomi F. F, urged the staff to be dedicated to their duties, as this is their primary assignment and it should not be played with. 

She, therefore, appreciated the Hon. Commissioner and the Management of the Ministry and prayed for God's guidance, protection, and more wisdom in piloting the affairs of the Ministry.

KWASSIP Opens Application Portal for Kwapreneur 5.0

The Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) is excited to announce the opening of the online application portal for the fifth edition of the Kwapreneur initiative (Kwapreneur 5.0). Common Entrance Materials: KWSG Directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS To Report for Collection

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July, 2024. In a statement issued by the Ministry today in Ilorin, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter's office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.
