KWSG topping charts and exceeding expectations — Towoju


The Kwara State Government has been constantly receiving commendations from local, national and international bodies in recognition of its massive developmental strides and inclusive governance. 

This submission was made by the Kwara State Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, while playing guest on a radio programme tagged, "Ijoba Mekunu," in Ilorin today. 

Towoju described the governing style of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as "unique and exemplary" and as one truly deserving of every recognition it receives.

"A few days back, I represented His Excellency and received an award, on behalf of the Governor, from the "Kwara Talents Harvest" conveners. 

"These youths appreciate what the youth-friendly Governor is doing in Kwara State and they felt he deserved to be appreciated. 

"They know that the Governor is committed to creating jobs for the teeming youths and this is evident in the projects he is embarking upon that will see to thousands of Kwara youths becoming gainfully employed," he submitted. 

Towoju stated that businesses are thriving under Mallam AbdulRazaq's administration as business owners are getting support from the government, especially after the economic effects COVID-19 had on businesses. 

He recalled that interest-free loans were given to youths with viable business ideas ranging from ₦300k to ₦3 millon last year. 

The Commissioner added that the enumeration process for the first batch of the successful applicants selected for the World Bank-facilitated post-COVID-19 relief fund is also ongoing in the State, and overseen by KWASSIP and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology. 

On the Ring Road named after Mallam AbdulRazaq in Ilesha-Baruba, Towoju described the show of love as commendable and added that the people of Kwara North are happy and proud of the Governor for extending the dividends of democracy to the region and for facilitating the development of Kwara North.
