KWGIS PROCESSES 334 CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY, READY FOR COLLECTION

The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWGIS) ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman, has disclosed that 178 Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os) have been processed and duly signed by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for collection. The Chairman made this disclosure while giving an account of the Agency's stewardship at the last quarterly inter- ministerial press briefing, organised by the Ministry of Communications. ESV. Sulyman said, the Agency has processed a total number of 156 in the second quarter, and 178 in the last quarter of 2024, making a total of 334 certificates of occupancy duly processed to the final stage and ready for collection. KWSG to Enhance Youths Employability

The Kwara State Commissioner for Youths Development, Amb. Hon. Shehu Usman Ndanusa, has emphasized that the Ministry is working assiduously to enhance the employabilities of youths in the State, through partnerships with related agencies.  The  Commissioner stated this during the last quarterly inter-ministerial press briefing, held today at the conference room of the Ministry of Finance.  Amb. Ndanusa reiterated that the Ministry proposed partnerships and collaborations with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), to help create employment opportunities for youths in the State. Mr Jimoh explained that the Residents Registration Exercise, which was flagged off in the State by the Executive Governor of the State on the 29th of July, 2024, has started yielding the desired results. “The Agency is pleased to inform the good people of Kwara State that it has started taking delivery of the SSID Cards and the Governor has directed the immediate distribution of the cards to their owners,” he said.
