560 Kwara Pilgrims Return Safely from Saudi Arabia today

The first batch of 560 Kwara State pilgrims have returned home safely after successful completion of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The pilgrims arrived at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, aboard a Max Air flight, at 12:23 pm with three officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Speaking on their arrival, the pilgrims expressed gratitude to Allah for a spiritually rewarding pilgrimage and commended the Kwara State Government for its support throughout the exercise.

In his own remarks, one of the pilgrims, Alhaji AbdulGaniy Naallah Pako, appreciated the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board for the seamless arrangements made for accommodation, feeding, and transportation during the pilgrimage.

Naallah Pako also described this year’s Hajj as exceptional and particularly praised the provision of local meals for pilgrims, which he said was a commendable initiative.

Also speaking, a female pilgrim Alhaja Saka Rasheedat expressed gratitude to the State Government for ensuring a successful and hitch-free Hajj exercise.

Family members, friends, and well-wishers were at the airport to receive the returning pilgrims and expressed joy and gratitude over their safe return.

Meanwhile, the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has confirmed that the second batch of pilgrims is expected to arrive on Tuesday, assuring that all necessary arrangements had been put in place for their smooth reception.

IVTEC-KWSG Empowers Youths Under the 2024/2025 Employment Generation Scheme

The Kwara State Government, in collaboration with International Vocational Technical and Entrepreneurship College, (IVTEC), Ajase Ipo, has  commenced batch 8 of the year 2024/2025 admission of Youths Empowerment and Employment Generation Scheme.  The Rector of the College, Engr.
