The Kwara State government has denied borrowing N93bn over the last three years, describing the claim by Hon. Saheed Popoola as false and totally out of line.  In a statement by the Honourable Commissioner for Communication, Bode Towoju, the government said the interest of the people is paramount to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and urged the people beware of rumour mongers who have started springing up poorly-calculated mischief in a bid to mislead the populace for selfish political gains.  Reacting to a claim by Hon. Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Olabode George Towoju, says the present administration in the state is committed to comprehensive rehabilitation of decayed infrastructure across the state.  The strategic rehabilitations of the infrastructure, according to Towoju, are particularly noticeable in the comprehensive rehabilitation of Water Works, schools and roads. "Since its inauguration in 2019, the administration of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, has shown great commitment to provision and rehabilitation of social services like road, water and qualitative education across the state," he said.
