The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has described the three years of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration as a liberating one.   Towoju, who gave the assertion today while speaking with newsmen, stated that the governor has been consistent in delivering the dividends of democracy to all Kwarans, irrespective of age, tribe, or political affiliations. KWSG denies borrowing N93bn, says Saheed Popoola lied

The Kwara State government has denied borrowing N93bn over the last three years, describing the claim by Hon. Saheed Popoola as false and totally out of line.  In a statement by the Honourable Commissioner for Communication, Bode Towoju, the government said the interest of the people is paramount to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and urged the people beware of rumour mongers who have started springing up poorly-calculated mischief in a bid to mislead the populace for selfish political gains.  Reacting to a claim by Hon. Popoola on a radio programme in which the lawmaker mischievously alleged that the administration has taken a total of N93bn loan since coming on board in 2019, Towoju said the claim is outright falsehood. KWSG Committed To Social Infrastructure Development- Towoju

Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Olabode George Towoju, says the present administration in the state is committed to comprehensive rehabilitation of decayed infrastructure across the state.  The strategic rehabilitations of the infrastructure, according to Towoju, are particularly noticeable in the comprehensive rehabilitation of Water Works, schools and roads. "Since its inauguration in 2019, the administration of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, has shown great commitment to provision and rehabilitation of social services like road, water and qualitative education across the state," he said. The Kwara State Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has sought for cooperation with journalists in the state in order to move the state forward.  Calling on the journalists to always stand for the truth, he added that many cankerworms will soon be made open and the "evil doers" will not go unpunished.  Towoju said that the past administrations mishandled many government properties, adding that it is one of the issues the government of Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq is trying to solve.  The Commissioner made the submission at the Media Parley held at the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) at his maiden appearance at the Chapel.  He added that "it is unfortunate that things have gone bad but we must not rest.
