The Kwara State Government has finally broken silence over the rumoured cholera outbreak, even as it confirmed cases of gastroenteritis, there by alleviating concerns over potential cholera outbreak, in the state. The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-lmam, stated this in her address today, during a press briefing, held at the Emergency Operation Center of the State Ministry of Health, Ilorin. The Kwara State Government wishes to announce that the Common Entrance (Placement) Examination into Junior Secondary Schools across the 16 Local Government Areas of the State is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th August, 2024.     The Common Entrance Examination accreditation is expected to commence by 8:00 am prompt in the various examination centres across the State. A statement issued by the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Ilorin today, also warned Principals/Headteachers and pupils to shun all forms of examination malpractices during the conduct of the examination. Kwara State Government on Monday commenced a free Summer Digital Coding class for students of public secondary schools across the state.
