KWSG Charges Haulage Consultants on REVENUE GENERATION

 Kwara State Government has charged haulage Consultants to improve on their revenue generation and follow due process, for effective monitoring and seamless operations.

The Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development Chief Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh gave this charge in Ilorin today, during a meeting with haulage consultants across the State, in her office .

She affirmed that the ministry is saddled with the responsibility of recommending relevant consultants for haulage collections in the state, hence their activities should be documented through the right channel.

She reiterated that the revenue remittance should be adequately directed to Kwara State Internal Revenue Services, whose major responsibility is revenue collection.

In his remarks, the Managing Director, Shomat-gulf Ventures, Otunba Ahmed Gegele appreciated the state government for the opportunity assuring the Commissioner of maximum cooperation, tailored towards developmental progress of the state.
