Agric Commissioner Felicitates Muslims on Hijrah 1447, Prays for Peace, Progress in Kwara

As the new Islamic year 1447 AH begins, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Afees Abolore Alabi extends warm greetings to Muslims across Kwara State and Nigeria, wishing them a season of peace, reflection, and renewed purpose.

He encourages reflection on the timeless lessons of the Hijrah—sacrifice, unity, and a commitment to building a just and peaceful society. These values, he notes, are vital for personal growth and collective progress.

Dr. Alabi commends Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for fostering unity and respecting cultural and religious diversity in the state. He notes that the declaration of the public holiday reflects a leadership style that honours the values and traditions of all communities.

The Commissioner prays for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he leads efforts to deepen development across the state. He wishes all residents a year filled with peace, growth, and enduring blessings.
