Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has appointed Prof. Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem (OFR) as the pro-chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council for the

Prof. Oba will lead a team of other senior citizens, administrators, and academics to ensure a smooth transmutation and take-off of the school.


Other members of the Governing Council are: Mrs. Opaleke Bukoĺa Iyabo; Hajia Risikat Lawal; Rotimi Samuel Olujide; Prof. Umar Gunu; Engr. Saad Belgore; Mr. Femi Aina; Omowumi Amuda; Hajia Kubra Kazum; Prof. Ibrahim Abdukadir Abikan; and a representative of the Ministry of Tertiary Education.

 • Applicants to Report at Their Local Government Areas on September 5 The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB) wishes to inform the general public that all applicants for its community-based recruitment exercise are required to report to their respective Local Government Areas on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, by 9:00 AM prompt. In addition to new applicants, Kwara SUBEB will also review the applications of individuals who achieved high scores and hold strong qualifications from earlier recruitment exercises. In a statement released today by the Acting General Manager of the Agency, Mr. Tajudeen Jimoh in his office stated that the date and the modalities for the registration will be announced in due course. Mr. Jimoh disclosed that the Agency's website would soon be launched which will allow the registrants to login, fill in the required information and visit any KWASRRA centres for capturing and thumbprint, adding that this innovation would help to save time and makes the registration easier.
